She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edgar Truman Burnley and Nada Elizabeth Burnley; her husband Wilbur William Thigpen; her children, Kimberly Elizabeth Thigpen Wilson (Steven Terry Wilson) and William Lance Thigpen (Lisha Barkley Thigpen); her grandchildren, Danielle Wilson Boutwell (Justin Allen Boutwell), Steven Noah Wilson (Jared Scott Wilson), Hope Raigan Thigpen, Grace Piper Thigpen, Paul Haddon Thigpen and Joy Blaise Thigpen; and her brother Edgar Lawrence Burnley (Virginia Burnley).
