We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Lewis Rogers of Thomson, Georgia, born in Washington, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Rogers and Kate Clements Rogers; and his sisters, Carolyn Cowart and Katie Hoats. He is survived by: his wife Frances "Fran" Rogers; his children, Beth Powell (Chris) and Bryan Rogers (Meredith); his grandchildren, Mary Kate Kitchings (Steven), Jay Rosier, Madison Rogers and Gage Rogers; and his great grandchild Janna Rosier.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Thomson (253 Jackson St, Thomson, GA 30824).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Thomson Vision Fund.
