He was predeceased by: his father Lester E. Walden, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Jeanette Newsome Walden (Janet) of Thomson; his siblings, Rickie Walden (Ceil), Randy Walden (Donna), Johnny Cooper (JJ), Brenda Axon and Kim Sims (Mike); and his close friend George Alberts. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Manna or Golden Harvest.
