It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Phillips Jr. of Thomson, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on April 23, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Grady Phillips, Sr. and Eulaween Phillips; his brother Kenneth Phillips; and his daughter Shirley Hall. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Phillips; his children, Freddie Gay Sr., Joseph Hall and Ginny Lynn Phillips; and his grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Joshua Keller, Karie Keller Destiny Hall, Jacob Phillips and Freddie Gay, Jr.. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
