She was predeceased by: her father Leonard J. Boyd; and her children, Leniun T. Boyd and JaMaal Mitchell. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Thomas Boyd; her husband Wayland Mitchell, Sr.; her children, Wayland Mitchell, Jr. (Natasha) and Waylanda Mitchell; her sisters, Teresa L. Boyd and Darlene Boyd Simpson; and her goddaughter Sierra Jackson (Talvird). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
