She is survived by: her husband David Gay; her children, Ricky LaFountain of Seattle, Washington, Stephanie Palmer of Milledgeville and Janet Sammons of Eatonton, Georgia; her sister Dorothy Wilson of Washington; her son-in-law Randy Palmer of Washington, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Amy Rybicki, Myranda Palmer, Dalton Reed and Abigail Reed.

Per CDC requirements the family will be observing social distancing.
