He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Patrick Coessens. He is survived by: his mother Bernice Mengle Coessens; his daughter Cassandra Coessens of Charlotte, N. C.; his sisters, Kathleen Davenport (Robert) and Debby Gaither (Johnny); his niece Jessica Poe; his nephews, Brandon Poe and Robert "R. J."; and his close friend Lisa Knotts. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
