It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Legander Jr. of Thomson, Georgia, born in Camden, New Jersey, who passed away on June 24, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Legander Sr. and Patricia Legander; his sisters, Barbara Woods and Patty Akers; and his son Vincent Scott Legander.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Legander; his children, Laurie Herndon (Jeff) and John F. Legander III; his grandchildren, Kristen Gillis, Tyler Legander, Savannah Legander, Megan Mason (Ty), Hunter Legander, Jonathan Whitaker, Angelina Herndon and Kevin Herndon; his great grandchildren, Lucas Tyler Mason and Kelsey Christine Lynn Gillis; and his cousin Donna Poli.
