He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Delbert Hodgin and Curley Buffkin Hodgin. He is survived by: his wife Rita Hodgin; his children, Jay Hodgin (Brenda), Scott Hodgin and Grae Hodgin Turner (Brent); his sister Eva Mae Lovett; and his grandchildren, Scott Allen Hodgin of Statesboro, GA, Joshua Scott Hodgin of McGaheysville, Virginia, Whitney Nicole Koen of Halstead, Kansas, Graeson Shirley of Greer and Jesse Brent Turner of Simpsonville. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westview Cemetery (507 Westview Dr, Thomson, GA 30824).
