She was predeceased by: her husband W. R. "Bill" Appling; her grandson Jason Appling; and her parents, Osborne Reese and Ferdie Reese. She is survived by: her grandson Eric Appling (April) of Brookhaven, GA. She is also survived by her two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Curtis Funeral Home (218 W Hall St, Thomson, GA 30824). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens (2235 Washington Rd, Thomson, GA 30824).
The family request that donations be made to Briarwood Academy or the Bereavement Meal Program at Thomson First Baptist Church.
