He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clifford Echols, Sr. and Ruby Collins Echols; his daughter Teresa Bray; and his brother Cecil Echols. He is survived by: his wife Martha Matthews Echols; his children, Dennis Echols (Angela) of Winterville, GA and Sonya Pilgrim (Randy) of Thomson, GA; and his sister Dorothy Ponder of Vienna, GA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
