She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Gay; and her son John Ray Gay. She is survived by: her children, Wanda Richardson (Danny), Mary Ann Phillips (late L. G.), Kimberly Williford (late Marc) and Freddie Gay, Sr. (Sativa Sturkey). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
