He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wade Varn, Sr. and Rosalee Mixon. He is survived by: his wife Clara N. Varn; his daughter April Varn Welch (James) of Clinton, TN; his sister Rosalyn Varn Edwards (Billy) of Washington, NC; and his grandchild Arwyn Elizabeth Welch.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Thomson, GA.
