He is survived by: his wife Georgia Brooker Sturgis; his children, Harold Dion Sturgis (Melody), Tyrus Bernard Sturgis (LaTara) and Rischa LaDessa Sturgis; his grandsons, Greyson Tyrus Sturgis and Coleman Dion Sturgis; his siblings, Barbara Sturgis, Hattie Hill (Thomas) and William Sturgis (Joann); and his sister-in-law Lillie Sturgis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
