It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Pittman Hayes Jr. of Thomson, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Pittman Hayes, Sr. and Doris Walker Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Vann Hayes; his daughters, Emily Hayes and Allison Hayes; his siblings, William Hayes and Shirley Porter (Dennis) of Augusta; and his granddaughter Aliza Higdon.
