He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Pratt Poss; his parents, Ila Mae Poss and Edward Cicero Poss; and his siblings, Varnell Poss, Dexter Poss and Betty Jean Gunby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
