He was predeceased by: his parents, J. H. Tankersley and Effie Clara Tankersley; and his siblings, James "Buddy" Tankersley and Dot Tankersley Whitener. He is survived by: his sons, Frank Tankersley, Jr. (Juli) and James Edward Tankersley (Deana); and his siblings, Billy Tankersley (Wanda) and Mary Dunaway. He is also survived by two grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Westview Cemetery (507 Westview Dr, Thomson, GA 30824).
