He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cook and Jewel Watson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Forkner Cook; his children, Mark Cook (Kim), Ronnie Cook (Terri) and Peggy Hayes (Nathan); his brother Frank Cook of Imperial, Missouri; his grandchildren, Becca Cook, Nicholas Hayes, Nichole Sparks and Krystle Perry; and his great grandchildren, Mary Morgan Hayes, Luke Hayes, Garrett Sparks, Emma Sparks, Elizabeth Sparks, Brandon Perry and Hunter Cook.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens (2235 Washington Rd, Thomson, GA 30824).
