She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Gleason Sadler and Clyde Dell Chastain Sadler; her stepmother Mary Senkbeil Sadler; her husband Rev. J. Mervin Stamey; her son Gerry T. Stamey; and her sisters, Fairy Sadler Moore and Josephine Simpson Adams.
She is survived by: her son Riley Stamey (Donna) of Thomson, GA; her brother Gerald Sadler (Evelyn) of Alpharetta, GA; and her grandchildren, Leyla Goodsell (Joey) of Florence, MS, Julie Langham (Van) of Thomson, GA and Gina Sword (Mike) of Covington, GA. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
