She was predeceased by: her parents, Thad McKuhen and Mattie Henry McKuhen; and her husband Lester Polk. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Culver of Martinez, GA, Robert Polk (Marian) of Appling, GA, Debbie Hansen of Harlem, GA and Terrie Thames (Punkin) of Sardis, GA; and her brother Henry McKuhen (Shirley) of Camak, GA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
