He was predeceased by: his parents, Learod Hadden and Barbara Key Hadden Armstrong; his son Joshua Hadden, Sr.; his brothers, Jimmy Hadden and Kenny Hadden; and his granddaughter Tobi Coleman.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Meadows Hadden; his children, Travis Hadden (Andrea) of Mitchell, Jonathan "Oot" Hadden (Kim) of Thomson, Georgia and Tassie Hadden West of Mitchell, Georgia; his daughters-in-law, Jessie Hicks (Jeff) of Warrenton and Crissy Fisher of Thomson, Georgia; his siblings, Bobby Gene Hadden of Boneville, Robbie Hadden (Judy) of Thomson, Jesse Hadden of Dearing and Pam Johnson (Wayne) of Boneville, Georgia.; his grandchildren, T. J. Hadden (Savannah), Zoe Hadden, Joshua Hadden, Jr., Jailey Hicks, Brian West, Jaxon Hicks, Jude Hadden, Ella Hadden and Henry Hadden; and his great grandchildren, Kezia Hadden and Luna Hadden.
