She was predeceased by: her husband Wilson Hemphill; and her parents, Layton Scoggins (Myrtle) and Margaret Cheesborough (Bill). She is survived by: her brother Preston Scoggins (Tricia); and her son Woody. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Debbie's memory to Thomson First United Methodist Church.
