He is survived by: his wife Ruth Meadows Welch of Thomson; his children, David "Snowball" Welch (Candy), Felton Welch (Jennifer) and Cheryl Welch Neal (Bryant) of Thomson; his grandchildren, Colby Welch, Daniel Welch, Noah Welch, Matthew Welch and Kaylee Welch; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Welch and Sandra Price. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
