Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Cynthia Jean Hunt of Thomson, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 74, on February 10, 2025. As we bid Cynthia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Cynthia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Whitelaw Hummer and Ruth Hunt. She is survived by: her brothers, Whitelaw H. Hunt (Barbara), Wyman Hunt (JoAnne) and Winston Hunt; and her caregivers, Leann Neal Robinson and Derrick Lee. She is also survived by several nieces, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel (218 W Hall St, Thomson, GA 30824-2622). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Curtis Funeral Home (218 W Hall St, Thomson, GA 30824-2622).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the New Thomson United Methodist Church or to the charity of one's choice.
