With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia Eubanks Hobbs of Thomson, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on August 25, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Eubanks and Dorothy Eubanks; and her sisters, Cecilia Griffin and Margaret Flaherty. She is survived by: her husband James Hobbs; her children, Elliott Waller (Mary Ann), Rebecca "Becky" W. Josey (Christian) and Melanie Bennett (Dile); her brother Cecil Morgan Eubanks, Jr.; her daughter Lora Adams; and her stepsons, Scott Hobbs and Hal Hobbs. She is also survived by Six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
