Charles Land Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Land of Thomson, Georgia, who passed away on January 5, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wives, Rebecca Tankersley Land and Idell Hawkins Land; his son Charles Land, Jr.; and his brothers, Tom Land, Bill Land and Gene Land.
He is survived by: his wife Madge R. Land; and his children, Susan Edwards (Glenn), Gail Taylor (Roy), Lisa McCorkle (Phil), Hope Cobb (Aaron), Shawn Land (Lisa) and Greg Sims (Stephanie). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of Flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Farmers State Bank, c/o the Shawn Land Kidney Fund.
