With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Ernie Reed Sr. of Thomson, Georgia, who passed away on November 18, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his sons, Charles Ernie Reed, Jr., Beaufort and Vernon Roby Barnett (Holly); his siblings, Madge Land (Charles), Caroline Coleman (Bernard) and Dale Reed (Brenda) of Washington; and his stepbrother Joe Richard Reed. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
