She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Breit and Janice Hall Breit. She is survived by: her children, Caroline Sowell (Mike) and George E. "Chip" Brown, Jr. (Leigh); her grandchildren, Blake Sowell (Taylor), Bryce Sowell, Austin Brown (Alex), Lane Brown and Bethany Teal; and her great grandchildren, Gracelynn Brown and Parker Sowell.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Prodigal Ministries, P.O. Box 84, Evans, GA 30809 or at prodigalaug.org.
