He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jenkins and Cathleen Odom Jenkins; his children, Blaine Jenkins and Katrina Pentecost; his sons-in-law, Doug Pentecost and Ralph Starling; and his siblings, E. K. Jenkins, Grace White, Margaret Watson, Sue Nell Williams and Edell Oliver.
He is survived by: his pet Brady; his wife Jo Helen Norris Jenkins; his children, Bonnie Starling, Bonnell Lester Jenkins, Jr. (Rebecca), Deborah Mann (Russell), Charles Brett Jenkins (Amanda), Susan Pickard (Daryl), Bryan Mark Jenkins (Becky) and Bradley Christopher Jenkins (Lauren); and his daughter-in-law Nancy Jenkins. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and several devoted nieces and nephews.
It is the family's request that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
