He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Barksdale and Lula Cox Barksdale. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thompson Barksdale; his son William Jason Barksdale (Dana); his sisters, Patsy Clark of Thomson, Georgia and Sandra Dye of Elberton; and his grandchild Aden Cross Barksdale.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824).
