Betty had a passion for collecting Betty Boop memorabilia, a reflection of her vibrant and whimsical spirit. She found delight in the simple pleasures of life, with a particular fondness for shopping, especially at Walmart, and dining out, particularly at the Chow-Chow. Her infectious laughter and warm smile illuminated every gathering, making each moment spent with her a treasure.
An avid crafter, Betty poured her creativity into various artistic pursuits, including beading, coloring, and embroidery. Her talents extended to baking, where she crafted spectacular character cakes that added a touch of magic to every celebration. Betty's strength of will was evident in her approach to life, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, Jesus Garcia, who stood by her side through thick and thin. She leaves behind two loving daughters, Christine (Tom) Hainley and Sarah (Matthew) Moses, who carry on her legacy of love and resilience. Betty is also remembered by her sisters, Annie (Rich) Halmuth and Barbara Diefenbach, and her brother, Billy (Barbara MacDonald) Crotchfelt.
