She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Erwin Dent and Sarah Corbin Dent. She is survived by: her husband Ed Darby; her children, Steve Powell (Kay), Charles "Chuck" Powell (Jenny), Chris Powell (Dawn) and Joy Bowles (Charlie) of Thomson, GA; her sisters, Polly Dent of Snellville, GA and Sandra Swain of Oxford, GA; her grandchildren, Brittany DeMaere, Parker Whitaker, Kristen Powell, Payne Powell, Newton Powell, Chappell Powell, Darby Verner and Austin Bowles; and her great grandchild Claire Whitaker.
