She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Surowitz and Anna Surlong Surowitz. She is survived by: her husband Garry Thompson; her children, Garry R. Thompson, II (Amber), Katrina Thompson and Ranata Newsome (Ben); her brother Anthony Surowitz; and her grandchildren, Augustus, Cassidy, Carsyn, Erin, Chevelle and Isabella.
