With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William R. Carter of Thomasville, Georgia, who passed away on June 19, 2024 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William R. Carter to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Buddy and Annette; his brother Michael (Wanda); and his son Rusty (Michelle). He is survived by : his children, Niki (Randy) and Ryan (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Sarah, Harley, Shelby, Tatum, Chandler, Peyton and Paisley. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Homes (10451 US-84, Thomasville, GA 31757).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to Ronnie's heart.
