William Milam Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Milam of Thomasville, Georgia, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Milam and Juanita Milam; his brother Thomas Milam; his brother-in-law George Edgar Metcalf; and his former wife Lacy Milam.
He is survived by: his wife Jenny Milam; his sisters, Evelyn Homan and Ruby Metcalf; his children, Jason Milam (Susan), Mike Milam (Lindsay), Lisa Hampton (Gary) and Elizabeth Lutz (Jim); his grandchildren, Kirk Hampton (Chloe), Lacey Ryan (Chris), Alexis Shaddix (Logan), Jacob Milam (Victoria), Joshua Milam (Katie), Logan Milam (Hillman), Reed Milam and Will Milam; and his great grandchildren, Owen and Jackson Milam.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home (10451 US-84, Thomasville, GA 31757). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Gatlin Creek Baptist Church.
