He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Abbott and Mary Phillips Abbott. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Denise Lancaster; his children, Christopher Eugene Abbott, Kristi Abbott Reid of Thomasville and Debbie Ann Strickland of Thomasville; and his sisters, Fran Willis of Alabama and Hazel Pedersen of North Georgia. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
