Vernon Arnold Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Arnold and Ethel Parriot Arnold; his siblings, Rubye Cantrell, Geneva Hale, Fred Arnold and Clifford Arnold; and his mother-in-law Gerri Sutphin.
He is survived by: his wife Janiz Arnold of Thomasville, GA; his daughters, Laura Kostovetsky (Boris) of Macon, GA and Anna Arnold of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Wesley Kostovetsky (Fabiola) of Macon, Kathryn Kostovetsky of Los Angeles, CA, Eleanor Chubb of Thomasville, Sophie Jane Chubb of Thomasville and Parker Beck of Thomasville; his great grandchildren, Jacob Cisneros, Mia Kostovetsky, Isabella Kostovetsky, Solomon Morton, Nicholas Ragsdale and Reuben Ragsdale; and his nieces and nephews, Wayne Cantrell, Cathy Baker, Brenda Gay and Tommy Hale.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home (10451 US-84, Thomasville, GA 31757).
In 2018 he was recognized as a Career Achievement Inductee to the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame for his decades of contribution to radio media.
