She is survived by: her husband Jim Cauthron; her daughters, Sabine Herring (Tony Herring), Michelle Hancock (Rob Hancock) and Julia McKenzie; her grandchildren, Emily Brogan (Caleb), Kaitlyn Conine (Chandler), Bobby Hancock, Bryna McKenzie, Morgan Bland (Dusty), William Herring (Brighton) and Anthony Herring; and her great grandchildren, Adda Grace, Jay Bruce, Franklin and Waylon.
During the COVID-19 crisis, she selflessly sewed countless masks for first responders, ensuring they had protection when they needed it most.
