He was predeceased by: his father Clyde W. Howell; his wife Linda J. Howell of Thomasville; his sons, Tony Lamar Howell, Jr. of Tifton and Randolph Alan Hale of Birmingham, AL; his brother William Franklin Howell (Billy) of Bainbridge; and his granddaughter Chasity Leah Long.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Howell of Valdosta, Deborah Duford of Newnan, Dana Carter (Derek) of Bonaire and Raymond Hale of Jemison, AL.; and his grandchildren, Brandi Mask, Allan Duford, Taylor Alvarez, Tylor Duford, Laycee Williams, Jeremy Hale, Dustin Greenway, Sarah Eloff and Jason Alan Hale. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
