He is survived by: his wife Patricia Delahanty Stephens; his daughters, Laura Stephens Nichols (Mike) of Cairo, Connie Stephens Robinson (Tim) of Dixie and Tammy Stephens Griffin (Charles) of Tifton; his grandchildren, Michelle Nichols Godwin (Matthew), Rebecca Nichols Powe (Wes), Billy Griffin, Brian Griffin and Chase Griffin; his great grandchildren, Zoe Godwin and Skye Godwin; and his siblings, George H. Stephens Jr. of Thomasville and Anna Laura Ragan of Thomasville.
