He is survived by: his wife Vera; his sons, Thomas Vann Smith Jr. (Denise) of Thomasville and Josh Lamar Smith (Kelly) of Pavo; his grandchildren, Thomas Garrett Smith (Macey), Natalie Marie Smith and Makenzie Anne Smith; his great grandchildren, Layla Claire Smith and Thomas Maxwell Smith; his close friend Tommy W Bozeman (Shebbie); his siblings, Janell Hendrix of Lakeland, Mary S. Brown (Jack) of Boston, Daniel L. Smith Sr. (Christine) of Pavo and Alan L. Smith Sr. (Bonnie) of Pavo; and also Vera. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
