He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge Roy M. Lilly and Mary Frances B. Lilly. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Eleanor N. Hand Lilly; his friend Frederick Buechner; his wife Eleanor; his children, Mary Lawrence Lilly Lang (Ashley) and Roy Miller Lilly, III (Nicole); his grandson Ashley Pierce Lang, Jr.; his siblings, Lavinia Lilly Krech and George R Lilly, II (Nelray); and his brother-in-law John Hand (Lois). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nephews and a great niece.
