He is survived by: his son Ronald "Ron" Smith Jr.; his wife Tracy of Thomasville; his daughter Pamela K.; his son-in-law Ramero Castillo of Ocklawaha, Florida; his sister-in-law Pat Smith of Moultrie, Georgia; and his sisters, Jane S. Folsom of Valdosta and Brenda (Houston Tyson). He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother.
