He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Shepherd and Jerry Shepherd; his wife Leslie Treviranus Shepherd; his daughters, Deborah Shepherd Stanfield (Jess) of Macon, Georgia, Stephanie Shepherd Tharpe (Brian) of Perry and Delia Large-Hart of Lexington, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Sarah Stanfield Davis, Sydney Stanfield, Emily Stanfield, Barron Tharpe and Cutter Tharpe; and his brother Daniel Martin Shepherd.
