He is survived by: his parent Anna; his wife Juanita; his children, James S. Cox, III, Katherine Pyle and Alice Bergeson (Valdosta); and his grandchildren, Chelsea Pyle, McKenna Crick (Atlanta), Hyatt Pyle, John Yearsley, Victoria Bergeson (Valdosta), Cameron Cox and Andrew Cox (Austin).
