It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Walter Chastain of Thomasville, Georgia, born in West Palm Beach, Florida, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Howard Chastain and Mary Bordeaux Chastain; and his siblings, Suzanne Ulmer, Lyndell Mercer, Johnny Chastain and Steve Chastain.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Stringer (Meven); his grandchildren, Ray and Lang of Thomasville, Georgia; his son Phillip Chastain Jr. (Erin); and his grandchildren, Scarlett, Camille and John of Monticello, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and a nephew.
