He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Wager and Mabel Wager (Stephens); and his sister Ann. He is survived by: his wife Cece; his daughters, Kathleen Hart (Chris), Caroline Gladstone (Garrett) and Kristine Wager; his grandchildren, Joshua, Emily Hart and Ava Gladstone; his nephew Brian Hopkins; and his great-nephew Logan Hopkins.
