He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Britt and Minnie Boles Cannon; and his sister Betty Ann Black. He is survived by: his brother Phillip Britt (Renee) of Tallahassee, FL; his stepsister Holly Cannon Fenlon (Mark) of Orlando, FL; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Black of Buford. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
