She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pleasant Dixon and Alma Irene Wood Dixon; and her husband Dr. James Clyde Dismuke, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Beth D. White, Sharon (Bruce Fykes), Dixon D. (Dick Van Hook) and Jamie (Donnie Wisenbaker); and her sister Wynelle Jordan of Greenville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
