She was predeceased by: her parents, John Batten and Annie Powers Batten; her husband Jeffrey Sylvester Jacobs; her children, Jeffrey Stephen Jacobs, Norma Kay McDonald and Linda Sue Walker; her granddaughter Chrystal Gail Jacobs; and her siblings, John Henry Batten, Willie Batten and Leona Wolford.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Jean Taft (Gene) of Waycross, Iva Lee Ezelle of Cairo, Rebecca Jacobs of Thomasville, Marilyn Rogers (Larry) of Brunswick, Robin Denise Poole of Waycross, John Wayne Jacobs of Kingsland and Martha Danice Bohannan (Jason) of Nahunta; her grandchildren, Marylou Corbitt, Pauline Taft, Gene Taft II, Jerri Lee Myrick, Pat Griffin, Pam Miller, B. J. Holmes, Susie Cook, Lorretta Henderson, Nancy Holton, Ryan Jacobs, John Jacobs, Talisa Thornton, Maddie Jacobs, Chase Jacobs, Isaiah Jacobs, Ryan Rogers, Angie Gordy, Leston Jacobs, Kirstie Johns, Rena Bohannan, Marsha Swain, Michael Poole, Tommy Poole, Dale Poole and Kyler Poole; and her friend James May. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
